What does a new fence typically cost?
Final pricing depends on the length of the fence, height, style, number of gates, and how challenging the yard is (slopes, rocks, trees, old fence removal, etc.). But we know it helps to have some ballpark expectations.
What affects your price the most
- Total linear footage of fencing
- Fence height (4', 6', 8', etc.)
- Style: wood, vinyl, chain link, or mixed
- Number and size of gates
- Old fence removal and disposal
How we handle quotes
- We provide clear, line-by-line pricing
- No surprise add-ons halfway through the job
- Options if you want to compare different fence styles
If you’d like a ballpark range before a visit, just mention it in your estimate request — we’re happy to give you a rough idea based on your property.
Fence installation FAQs
Most standard residential fences are installed in 1–3 days, depending on the length, style, terrain, and how many gates are included.
We call in utility locates before digging so we know where it’s safe to dig. Permit requirements vary by city — if a permit is needed, we’ll walk you through it or handle it as part of the project.
For most residential fences, we set posts approximately 24–30 inches deep in concrete, then adjust based on fence height and soil conditions to keep things stable over time.
Yes. If you’d like old fence removal included, we’ll add that into your quote so you know the exact cost for demo and disposal.
We stand behind our workmanship with a labor warranty, and many materials come with manufacturer warranties as well. We’ll explain the details with your quote so you know what’s covered.
